Public

Almimariya worked on a variety of public buildings, school, elderly housing, commercial development, museum etc. Always responding to the context to meet the need of the client with sustainable development as the goal.

Urban & Landscape

Post war reconstruction and heritage preservation is a major challenge . The office worked on two main projects, one in Beirut and one for a village in Mount Lebanon trying to reconcile these two important issues. Other public projects relate to community building and issues of accessibility.

Residential

With projects in Lebanon and the Arab world, the practice translated clients’ needs for a home that responded to their lifestyle and unique context, while investigating the identity of architecture of the region in the 21st century.

Interior

The practice has a variety of interior projects for homes to restaurants etc..

Refurbishment

With sustainability at the core of the practice’s concerns, refurbishments are a main interest . Two examples of an extensive range of work are featured one in a rural setting and one in an urban setting.

Competitions

The practice believes in growing its abilities and skills through research and the challenge of competitions. The practice tackled competitions that dealt with issues of housing, ecology and sustainable development.
