Hamra street, Beirut, Lebanon, 2008
On the corner of the prestigious shopping street of Hamra and Sadat street, we designed a nine-unit commercial development in keeping with the context. The design continues the rhyme of the street (4.2 m span) and maintains its scale and street alignment while articulating this important corner of Ras Beirut. The building is a simple elegant frame of sandstone with glass canopies and nothing to obstruct the view into the shops.
