The Facilities Planning and Design Unit wanted to install a ramp for the disabled to the archaeology museum building.
Instead of designing a ramp in the building’s forecourt straight up the entrance, we proposed having the ramp to the side. Raising the whole forecourt would create a public space off the main thoroughfare of the university.
